Cleary, LACASA Raising Awareness of Sexual Assault
April marks National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and LACASA Center is extending an invitation to the community to join in a series of events and initiatives aimed at raising awareness and demonstrating support for victims and survivors of sexual assault.
From April 5th to the 18th, LACASA is collaborating with Cleary University to present the “Clothesline Project,” a compelling exhibit featuring t-shirts crafted by assault victims, survivors, and their allies.
The exhibit is open to the public daily from 10:30 am to 3 pm, with the exception of Sundays. Additionally, on April 9th, between 12 pm to 2 pm, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a survivor share their story and even create their own t-shirt in solidarity
